Claim - and Evidence
We treat the whole body, not just where it hurts.
Assessment covers movement and posture across the whole kinetic chain, since MSK pain is frequently caused or worsened by problems elsewhere in the body.
Treatment starts on your first visit, where appropriate.
Rather than a diagnosis-only first appointment, our chartered physiotherapists begin hands-on treatment in the same session wherever clinically appropriate.
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy - Common Questions
Do I need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist for an MSK condition?
No. You can self-refer directly to Crosby Physiotherapy - a GP referral is not required, though some insurers may ask for one before they'll cover treatment.
What happens at a first MSK assessment?
Your physiotherapist takes a full history, assesses movement and posture across the whole body, and where appropriate begins treatment on the same visit.
